Non Pardus Cluster related Buildings
Faction Military Outpost |
| Military outposts owned by a faction have very heavy defences installed - attacking one might turn out unhealthy. Faction MOs can be found around faction homeworlds, and on the borders of faction-controlled clusters, to prohibit individuals or alliances from gaining too much influence by sealing off important routes.
Faction MOs allow free passing of all pilots regardless of their faction. |
Faction Smelting Facility |
| As military outposts, also smelting facilities are heavily defended when owned by a faction. These faction smelters are found in and around faction homesectors. Production and capacity are huge. Faction smelters are always open for public trade and work fully autarchic with fixed prices; production is only influenced by pilots providing upkeep. |
Gem Merchant |
| Certain there was some profit to be made with the large quantities of nearly worthless gems disposed of daily by mining operations, jewelers have founded a prosperous industry across the universe. Traveling through the sectors in their mobile workshops, Gem Merchants turn common Gem Stones into highly valuable jewels. Location, of course, is just as important in space as it is on a planet when it comes to obtaining specific types of jewels. [MECH:Juwelenhandel] |
Research Station |
| In these impressive stations, special weapon and armor classes are developed and sold by teams of profit-oriented neutral researchers. A research station can be specialized on electro-magnetic weapons, electro-magnetic armors, organic weapons, or organic armors. Only about a dozen of these buildings exists in the entire universe, most of them in neutral territory. Those not in neutral clusters can be found in Keldon Empire space, supported by a large group of Keldonian top scientists. |
Cybernetic Station |
| Allegedly only one such gigantic cybernetic station exists in the universe, somewhere in neutral territory. Erected by a peaceful race of cyborgs, certain cybernetic orbiters can here be assembled by visitors provided they bring along the necessary commodities for components, and some money. |
Souvenir Shop |
| These rare souvenir shops are said to be located in really silly and hard to find places - well hidden in energy corners of some obscure neutral sectors, with three tourist ships passing by per decade. These tourists may be disappointed though - the souvenir shop's owner seems to be on vacation all the time. |
Pardus Cluster related Buildings
Lucidi Military Outpost |
| When the Pardus Cluster was discovered and wormholes were reopened by the Galactic Council, pioneers found these highly defended outposts blocking passage to all pilots on the cluster's every border, owned by a strange new race, the Lucidi.
Even the interior of the Pardus cluster is riddled with these constructions, blocking important routes. Fortunately, the Galactic Council found the means allowing selected pilots to pass these blockades, provided in the Project PEAC Headquarters. |
Lucidi Weapon and Armor Station |
| The Lucidi built these fully automated stations to upgrade their pilots' equipment. As long as you bring enough exotic crystals and manage to avoid their patrols, you can dupe the Lucidi and acquire their powerful tools for yourself!
Stations like these can only be found inside the dangerous Pardus Sector. |
Protection Station |
| The Galactic Council was able to smuggle commodities needed for the construction of a few of these protection stations into hidden nooks of the Pardus Sector, where all ships are protected from the deadly background-radiation. Also no combat is possible here. |
